Street Department patching

The Village Public Works Department has responsibility for maintaining village streets within the city limits. This responsibility includes patching or repairing damaged roadways and keeping the roadways free of debris accumulated through seasonal changes – i.e. removing leaves and snow from village streets.

Mother nature can be very unpredictable, but the Public Works Department is prepared for any challenge. When roads are inaccessible from flash floods, downed trees or limbs, downed power lines, and/or heavy snow or freezing rain, the Public Works Department is the first on the scene to address each situation in order to keep local residents as safe as possible.

Village residents are encouraged to report any issue with roadways to the Village Offices at 1 South High Street or by calling 473-3420. In the case of an emergency, please call 911.
