The Village of Covington, Ohio, is seeking a highly motivated individual to work as a Utility Operator 2 for the Village.  Under general direction of the Water and Wastewater Supervisors, the Utility Operator 2 serves as a backup manager of the water and wastewater operations of the Village as well as supports the Public Works Department.

A high school diploma or GED is required. The person in this position must have an Ohio Water Supply License I, a valid Ohio driver’s license and have or be able to obtain within six (6) months of employment a Commercial Driver’s License with a Class B endorsement.  Applicants with an Ohio Wastewater License I in addition to a Water License will be considered at a higher entry rate.
