Beautification Award
The Mayor’s Beautification Award is a program that will award one or two properties per month for the months of June, July, and August of each year.
This program will come with a decorative lawn sign that will be placed in the yard along with recognition at a Council meeting and a matted certificate with a photograph of their property.
Attractive properties are recognized because they help to build more attractive streets and neighborhoods within the community and to help raise property values for the surrounding property owners.
Properties will be chosen based on noticeable changes in landscaping, trees, and flowers on the property that increase the overall curb appeal, improvements to the primary structure on the property that make the property look more attractive including painting, siding, roofing, fencing, or other elements.
