Schoolhouse Park Bids
NOTICE - BID ADVERTISEMENT
RE-BID Sealed Bids (Single Prime Contract) for the furnishing of all necessary materials and construction of the (2 bid packages) New Pavilion and Splash Pad (Bid Contract A) and Amphitheater (Bid Contract B), and all associated site work are requested by Village of Covington located at 25 N. Grant St. Covington, Ohio 45318
Bids will be received by the Village of Covington at their offices located at 1 South High St. Covington Ohio until 10:30 a.m. on 10/20/22 for Bid Contract A, and 11:00am on 10/20/22 for Bid Contract B, and at that time will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The revised base estimate of probable costs for these projects are $1,242,000 (Bid Contract A), $633,000 (bid Contract B) as identified in re-bid documents. Bidders shall not be responsible for paying sales taxes on materials incorporated into the structure.
Contractors can bid on both packages separately (must be kept separate due to funding sources).
Revised Construction Completion Date: September 1st, 2023
This project must follow all and the latest State of Ohio Prevailing Wage rules, regulations and rates and follow Buy American rules and regulations as noted.

The revised/updated contract documents, including plans and specifications, are on file at the Village Hall and the Architect/Engineer -- Poggemeyer Design Group, Inc. (PDG). Documents may be viewed and ordered online or obtained from Becker Impressions, 4646 Angola Road, Toledo, Ohio 43615, telephone 419-385-5303, www.pdgplanroom.com for the cost of printing to be paid to the printing company at the time the drawings are picked up. Shipping and tax charges are the bidder’s responsibility and payable directly to Becker Impressions. Neither the Owner nor the design team are responsible for any missed sections or communication if documents are not obtained directly from the printing company.
